Renewable and Natural
As fishermen, we love high-tech materials ranging from fiberglass fishing rods, to gore-tex waders. Our flies are made with deer hair, bear hair, squirrel tail and feathers that come in every color in the rainbow. But, for some reason, we continue to store our flies in cheap plastic cases that end up in landfills.
Whether you prefer we flies r bombers, our wood fly boxes welcome them all. Our fly boxes are made from locally sourced Canadian hardwoods, so you can feel good about your environmental impact.
Designed and Crafted in Gatineau
Each fly box begins with a piece of hardwood that was hand selected based on grain and natural esthetics. The fly box is carved and assembled by hand in our workshop located in Gatineau (QC). Brass barrel hinges are used to provide a reliable closing mecanism, and rare earth magnets are used to keep your box closed. Wood accent pieces enclose the magnets to provide a more refined look.
5% for the MSA
Growing up in New-Brunswick, I had a youth membership with the MSA. I learned about the conservation efforts about the complexity of regulation of sport angling.
5% of all sales will be donated to the Miramichi Salmon Association to promote the conservation of Atlantic Salmon poulations in New-Brunswick. This our way of giving back to the community.
