Narrows Fly Fishing
Dungarvon Fly Box
The Dungarvon river is a tributary of the Renous River in new-Brunswick. The river is well-known as a salmon fishing river but is better known for the folk tales regarding the Dungarvon Whooper. While camping on the banks of the Dungarving river, you might hear the scary whooping sound of the fabled creature, Or in my case, it might be your dad trying to scare you when you are an 8-year-old kid. The dark grain of the walnut pays tribute to the late-night telling of the tale of the Dungarvon Whooper.
